Should animal testing be banned?

I think it should be banned, the animals can't say no and they also can't declined. It's not ideal to make someone live in a cage when we are used to being free, so why make a monkey, rat, or any other animal live in a cage.

Besides they test things on monkeys a lot because our DNA is 98% identical. HOWEVER, when things are harmful to the monkeys they tell the media that apes have different DNA so the results can't trusted.

I just don't agree that it is 'acceptable' to cage an animal that is normally free nor do I agree that we can just poke them with needles just because they cannot say no.

I believe it should be banned as well. What gives them the right to treat animals like that. I understand that they are doing that from preventing them from testing things on humans, but there must be some kind of alternative. They should never be treated like that, and it needs to be put to an end.

I don't know where you get the idea when you say that the animals are well treated, that is not true, there have been to many reports of animals being treated badly. An they cannot say no, so i don't think it should be continued, let start testing things on humans instead.
