A few years back, Firefox was the favourite browser for many of the young internet user .. It was fast comparing to IE at that time.. Support for addons allowed Firefox to be extended to get a lot of functionalities.. It was updated frequently... At that time, Firefox market share was growing month by month.. and reached to a position where it surpasses IE..
But with the introduction of Chrome by Google changed everything... Chrome has almost all functionality Firefox had at that time.. and it was much faster to start than Firefox. Google used it's big advertising network to give popularity to chrome.. Thus it started stealing market share from Firefox...
Now Chrome surpasses Firefox market share.. Mozilla is trying hard to fight back.. yet to see who will will this browser battle..
